Our Story
Our voice is one of 16 family violence prevention and legal services that fall under the umbrella of the First Nations Advocates Against Family Violence (FNAAFV).
The Warra Warra Legal Service is a legal services group situated in Broken Hill, in the far west of New South Wales. We provide essential Legal, Counselling, and Non-Legal Services to surrounding Indigenous communities.
Our Goal
Our goal is to assist victim survivors in preventing, responding to, and reducing the occurrence of family violence and sexual assault. We intend to help and work with the community to help them feel safer.
Our Vision
We are united in our vision of a future in which First Nations communities and individuals can live their lives free of the devastating effects of family violence. Our united voice strives to raise awareness about the impact of family violence on First Nations people and to advocate for culturally safe legal and non-legal solutions to this problem.
Our Outreach Service
Support where you live
Through mobile services and community engagemnet programs, we reach individuals who may face barriers to accessing legal, and counselling help.
Our Outreach Service plays a crucial part in our organisations goal and vision. This proactive approach not only raises awareness but also builds relationships within the community, empowering individuals to seek support. Outreach efforts include; workshops, information sessions, walk-in consultations, and collaborations with local organisations.
